The order of the callbacks is as described in the documentation http://www.geekq.net/workflow/#hook_order So on_transition is more like before_transition

If these callbacks are not enough for you, could you please elaborate more on your use case or even better - prepare test case (test method).

I'm trying to use those before_transition/after_transition. Can I use methods>
def before_transition(from, to, triggering_event, *event_args)
logger.debug 'this is the before [method] transition hook'
end

Or only within the workflow declaration box? (my method is not picked up, maybe something wrong with the parameters)
