I guess it's this call that fails:
var colors = await _rebrickableClient.GetPartsAsync(page: 1, pageSize: 10, includeDetails: true, bricklinkId: "3001") ?

Maybe it will help, but i got the exception on other calls as well.

Yep, seems like something is broken for xamerin forms. Can you try to update system.text.json to a newer version?

Yep, you were right. I updated from 4.6.2 to 6.0.2 and it worked.
