Looks like this is already implemented.
gh_fsck is used to move files on shares with only 1 file copy, and that function calls gh_fsck_file for each file, which will both copy the source file to another drive, and update the symlink on the share.

But --going could still be improved.
Instead of having to wait a complete fsck to get back all soon-to-be-broken symlinks on shares with multiple file copies, we should use 'find' to identify all symlinks in all those shares that point to the going drive, and just fix the symlink to use another copy.
That way, when the drive is remove, all symlinks are already OK.
