Hi Gerrit, thanks for your report. I have head another report of missing answers in Ordering questions. Your information today may well help to identify the cause. I'll try to reproduce the error and let you know. Thank you.

Gerrit, I tried to reproduce the issue you reported, but I couldn't.

On a Moodle 3.11 site, I backed up a simple course that had one quiz with one Ordering question in it. Then, I restored the course onto a Moodle 4.04 site. The Ordering question was restored perfectly, including all the options.

Could you possibly send a the backup file so I can test it on my development server? Please contact me via email, if this is possible: gordonbateson at-sign gmail dot com

Geritt,
as far as you can tell, which kind of answers are now missing:
[1] some ordering answers and some answers from other question types
[2] all ordering answers, but no answers from other question types
[3] some ordering answers and no answers from other question types

If the answer is [3], would you say that it is only answers that contain 100 or more characters?
