looks like you are missing a library:
libresolv in this case.
I've put in a word about this in doc/INSTALL

libresolv in there and it appears to compile, but linking doesn't seem to work. This is only on Cent 5, Cent 6 works fine. I tried changing LDFLAGS+ to no avail. Still have the same errors.

I've tracked this down to an issue with the libresolv.so library.

Tested it on a VM and indeed there is a problem, clearly prads hasn't been compiled on RHEL5 since forever. Sorry to be too quick closing the issue on you. The issue was with symbols not being exported from libresolv. The fix just compiles these in statically instead, which should be sufficient.
Please try it out and confirm that you are able to compile prads.
