I am not clear what is the issue here. Are you saying that one of the dependencies broke compatibility with Node v14?

• 7.14.0 was compatible with Node-12
• 7.14.1 is not compatible with Node-12

would be nice to release 7.14.2 which is compatible with Node-12 again (for legacy systems) and release 8.0.0 which breaks this compatibility
