Especially this one:

The process should not exit on errors.

I adjusted this error event. It now provides an instance of Error in the callback argument with .stack trace and one of these messages:

Server error               Catch server failures
Socket error               Catch communication failures
IP or port not available   This catches EADDRNOTAVAIL errors
