:school: The purpose of the Gettysburg Virtual Tour System (G-Virtual) is to provide an alternative and supplement to the current campus tour system for prospective and current students using the SMART Table produced by SMART Technologies. G-Virtual will allow users to view a large map of campus and select certain buildings and other important locations on campus (points of interest) to access related information, pictures, and videos drawn from a central database. Users will be provided with multiple methods of narrowing down their options to most optimally locate the information they seek. Additionally, G-Virtual will permit up to two users to simultaneously manipulate the device by making use of the SMART Table’s ability to register multiple, independent manipulations of its touch screen (“multitouch” capabilities).
