Hello,
In some case, tempfile got deleted before beeing able to use it.
In order to be able to access file data, you can request a stream output.
Hope it answer to your question.

It does thank you. As I have done more research on this gem, is the WWDC pem file supposed to be the combination of the pass type p12certificate and the private key?
And the second file listed as cert.p12 should be the original pass type cert downloaded gr the apple developer site?
Will be attempting to fully implement this gem today - any additional examples you have would be helpful on how you are adding images, etc..
Thank you for your help

Hello,
Sorry for being late to answer.
The WWDC is just an extra cert in this case. It will be inclued in the signature and downloaded from apple website.
The cert.p12 file is the cert which you generate in order to sign your pass.
You need to request a cert, upload your request online and apple will let you download the cert (like developer cert)
I'll try to create another repo with a fully working solution for passes in the next days.
