Can you tell me which Frescobaldi version you are using and which operating system (contents of Help->About->Version)?

And does the source window look focused (i.e. does the cursor blink)?

Thanks.

Versions are Frescobaldi V2.0.4 running on Ubuntu 11.10.

I'll post about the cursor when it happens again. It rarely happens on the first point-and-click, but on a second or later occasion. The current line is definitely still highlighted yellow on the source window.

Whether flashing or not, once I have hit the condition, the cursor responds to mouse clicks and moves in the buffer, but does not acknowledge keyboard input.

Cheers

Really strange issue. Some widget is apparently grabbing the keyboard input. Do you use any special input managers?

I have got ibus installed but the input method was off. Will try using Fresco with ibus not running and see if I can reproduce.

Have been unable to reproduce since upgrading to V2.05 and V2.06. Closing this issue.
