Can’t display PDFs with Frescobaldi 3.3 Windows installer about frescobaldi HOT 7 CLOSED

I also have this issue.

Did you have a previous version of Frescobaldi installed before installing 3.3.0?
I've just tried a fresh install on Windows and it didn't work. I'll open a new issue.

I needed to find a computer where I could do a fresh install to reproduce this issue as well as issue #1580.
The problem here is, that the poppler version 21.03 produces blank pages. (The same thing happened some time earlier, where only version 0.80 worked and the versions 0.81 and 0.82 didn't.
I've build a poppler library base on poppler 20.12.1 which seems to work. I'll so some more testing and if everything looks good I'll provide a new setup.

I tried with the installer just now.
Yesterday was the first time I've ever run or installed this software. I am running windows 10.
I still see no rendering in the view window. But yes it does save the PDF correctly. See screenshots below.

Too bad. @Blankdoor You can try Frescobaldi 3.2 in the meantime (happy discovering LilyPond :).

Is there a way to run the Python executable inside the app in a (cmd/Powershell) shell? It would be interesting to try the qpageview tests. Also, it would be nice to be able to see what Frescobaldi is logging, if anything. Maybe there are clues.

The latest installer works fine! I can see the music preview.
