passing custom template to show_more template tag about django-endless-pagination HOT 2 CLOSED

Ok, I did some semi-crazy thing that solves it. In my templatetags:

from django import template
from endless_pagination.templatetags import endless
from django.template.loader import render_to_string

register = template.Library()

# wrapper of show_more from endless_pagination to override its template
@register.simple_tag(takes_context=True)
def my_show_more(context, template="pagination/show_more_table_rows.html"):
    context = endless.show_more(context)
    return render_to_string(template, context)

Hi Michal,
your workaround seems nice. Excluding the usual template overriding supported by Django, there is no other way at the moment to define a custom template to be used by endless tags. This would be solved introducing the ability to configure the pagination from settings. Bug #5 describes this approach, and ISTM an abstract and elegant solution.
