This was already answered a lot in the discord, we probably should make a better example of it in the docs for custom components, but the case is a custom formkit component that has a context steals the slots context, so you need to write a bit differently so instead of <slot></slot> you write <component :is="context.slots.default"></component>: https://formkit.link/9843b40b3ce25d13d38b770ba8e24b2c

@frnhr the <component> here is rendering an actual component (the render function of the slot). To have slot-like behavior you can use a conditional:

This seems to work half way, because the default value inside <component></component> is never rendered.

I expect to see hey this should be replaced but only getting hey: https://formkit.link/93051cc750eed2727b63c312c3611637
