The original issue was reported by @rfc2616 at fog/fog#2945.

@Temikus brought me here from #60.
I am authenticating with a service account in a Meteor/Node app (as described here and here). Perhaps Google Cloud Storage has made some changes since the original issue was filed?

Since last looking at this bug, GCS now has a blessed their JSON API https://cloud.google.com/storage/docs/json_api/

The downside to this, is it is a completely separate API. So we'd basically need to duplicate all of the code, which I am totally ok with. I've been wanting to do this for a while (as mentioned in the 2014 bug... #facepalm) and I'll hopefully get to by the end of the year. If anyone wants to work on this with me, or has questions and wants to implement, feel free to hit me up on Slack, email or hangouts ([email protected]).
