I will investigate this in next week or later.

Could you describe your scenario?
from fluent-logger-node.
@okkez eg.
I would send something to slack when fluent-logger-node was disconnected with fluentd
and
I would do something when fluent-logger-node reconnected with fluentd.

I would send something to slack when fluent-logger-node was disconnected with fluentd
You can try following code:
var logger = require('fluent-logger').createFluentSender('tag_prefix', {
host: 'localhost',
port: 24224,
timeout: 3.0,
reconnectInterval: 600000 // 10 minutes
});
logger.on('error', function(error) {
console.log(error); // Notify error to slack
});
I will implement connect event as following:
logger.on('connect', function() {
console.log('connected!'); // But we cannot recognize re-connection after error.
});

Can only be so
