Demo with Ejecta about react-canvas HOT 5 OPEN

Great idea. The first prototype actually did run as an iOS app inside Ejecta. I would love to pick this up again at some point.

The WKWebView on iOS should perform well enough (no need for Ejecta). You should check out https://crosswalk-project.org/ for Android support.

Decoding images on the main thread is the biggest bottleneck to smooth scrolling. Something like Ejecta would allow it to be done in a background thread. Touch latency in browsers is still an issue as well, so native gesture recognizers would be a big win.

(The first prototype which ran in Ejecta was noticeably faster.)

The changes to run React Canvas inside Ejecta are pretty minor. If there's enough interest, I can see about merging this into mainline.
