Yes, this behavior is expected, Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection will block browser requests to the provided FingerprintJS CDN. There are multiple ways of bypassing this:
- Install FingerprintJS using NPM.
- Include FingerprintJS in your code as a static JavaScript file.
- Implement a server endpoint that proxies requests to
https://openfpcdn.io/fingerprintjs/v3and use that in your client instead of calling the CDN directly.
