IPFS Found is always storing the real data from curated data to the Filecoin network during the Slingshot Competition , it has stored the following datasets:

For now we are storing the “Landsat 8” - it is an ongoing collection of satellite imagery of all land on Earth produced by the Landsat 8 satellite.

In the future, we hope to help people store the the private data.

4. Miners you intend to allocate DataCap with allocation proportion(with redundancy/location/specific requirement of storage miners)

• IPFS Found will store the data from curated dataset of slingshot list.

• IPFS Found will choose some large and stable miners to store the real data; the Power must be lager than 1PiB. Each data will be stored in at least four different miners, and each data will be stored in 10 copies；The source data will be stored in my local machines or cloud server.

• Besides, we have 5 stable official miners f023530, f01231, f016398, f021479, f070932 f0131822, f0133505 with total 76.51 PiB power until now.

• The dataCap will be assigned to different miners, less than 20 percents will be stored in my own miner.

5. What's your next plan for the data you plan to store in Filecoin Network? For-profit or not?

IPFS Found plan to store the data to the Filecoin network for free. In the short term, IPFS Found just store the public data from curated data. In the long term, ‘IPFS Found’ will store more and more real data to the Filecoin network. Firstly. We will choose to store the public data.

@steven004 thanks very much, if Slingshot Competition goes on, IPFS Found will use the datacap to it firstly; And a new version IPFS Found will be online soon, it will support that users can upload their own data to the filecoin network. We gurantee that the Datacap will be used on real and useful data.

Just a kind reminder: at this stage, I would only accept curated dataset (listed in https://github.com/filecoin-project/slingshot/blob/master/datasets.md), and will randomly retrieve and check the data. For user personal data, we will figure out a way to verify before issuing datacap for it.
