The 2.7 bug is fixed in the latest dev, which you can just get by performing a git clone of the project (don't forget to uninstall news-please first via pip uninstall news-please). also, i have uploaded that to pypi now, so you can also upgrade news-please this way pip install news-please --upgrade
regarding the 3.5.2 issue, please send me the full link of the page you wanted to extract.

Should be fixed now in both versions (Py2.7 and 3.x). I also packaged the new code to PyPI so that you can simply perform pip install news-please --upgrade. Please let me know if this does work for you. 52530de
