Hi,
Thanks for the proposal, naming is always a difficult task for everyone, and I have to say there is no optimal naming.
Right now ffmpeg.js is actually a wrapper for the ffmpeg-core.js / @ffmpeg/core which is the repository that generates the wasm part (link HERE). And I think it is more suitable to use ffmpeg.wasm for ffmpeg-core.js / @ffmpeg/core instead of renaming this project, so I don't plan to change the name for now.
I would like to keep this thread open for a while and see if there is any more feedback.

I still think it's bad idea to use same name for different projects. Why can't you come with your own name? It will confuse people that way.

Incredibly confusing TBH.
If you Google ffmpegjs you get Kagami's version. I'm just finding out these are two totally unrelated projects.
