Hi 👋, I'm Farhan Ar Rafi

Doing PhD in CSE @ UNT | Former Engineer [ Android | iOS | Web ]

I am Farhan Ar Rafi, a Graduate Student studying Computer Science at the University of North Texas. I have just started my Ph.D. career in Fall 2023 and have only fixed a research direction till now. My research would be directed towards the following aspects:

  • Accessibility Research for visually and physically impaired Software Developers and Students
  • Software Engineering Research for running ML on low-powered, cheap hardware
I have 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record of developing robust applications. I have 7 years of experience in Android App development with 3+ years in Android Platform Development (AOSP). The apps that I have worked on are used globally. My top achievements include the Best Employee Award(2020) from BJIT Limited and the Vice Chancellor's Award for Best Undergraduate Thesis(2016). I am highly skilled in problem-solving in Software Engineering. My understanding and expertise range from Mobile app to Web app development and across the domain of Machine Learning.
