I discussed this with Dave briefly. It is possible that some people would not want the Pi to restart a scheduled playlist.

Perhaps the best fix would be an option, either Global for all schedule entries, or select-able like "Repeat" is when you create a schedule entry.

I've experienced this as well and interpreted it as an error. If the current time is within the scheduled show time, the playlist should start automatically. This would be similar to LOR, LSP, xLights, etc. We may want to add a button to the Program Control page that is "Enable Scheduled Playlist" that would change to "Disable Scheduled Playlist" once the current playlist is enabled. Kind of like the start/stop button is currently. This would be similar to enable/disable shows in those other softwares. However, I would still suggest that the enable/disable scheduled Playlist default to ON. This is, afterall, a show player. I think there will be less confusion if it's playing and you want to turn it off rather than it's off and you don't understand why it isn't playing.

This feature has been added. On reboot or start if the time is between the start time and the end time of a schedule entry that entry in the schedule will play.
