Correct! The generic builds should run on most systems.

No builds for Zen 2 / Cascade Lake are planned at the moment, since I don’t use them personally and would like to keep the number of configurations I build small.

However, for the kernel, the performance impact of microarchitectural optimizations is not that large. If you really prefer a kernel optimized for your microarchitecture, you could also try to build the repository locally.
