If you delete the README and download it again (exercism fetch
) does it make your version consistent with the web?
As mentioned elsewhere, exercism.io is a prototype, and one result of this is that the problems can change when people discover issues with them. The README was updated yesterday and deployed about 7 hours ago. The test suite has been fixed in some, but not all of the languages.
There is no mechanism for tracking who submitted which version of the test suite, or what the result of running the tests were at the time of submitting. Eventually there will be, but for now it's not really considered a problem. When discussing code it's fairly safe to assume that the test suite was passing at the time of submitting the solution, and the most interesting discussion is about the code that is in front of you, not a particular version of it.
I'm going to close this, as this is a known and accepted situation. Thanks for taking the time to discuss it.
