link regexp correction about markdown-js HOT 4 CLOSED

I don't understand the report. Can you wrap the relevant bits of code in ? As it is, they're getting parsed by GitHub's Markdown parser.

Ohh, awesome, thanks! I can still reproduce the bug in the version I'm using, which is a few months old, so I suspect it's present in trunk, too.

Probably it should be possible to include [] inside link anchor text by backslashing them, right? I guess I should try some other Markdown implementations to see. In that case, ([^\[\]]*?) would become something like ((?:[^\\\[\]]|\\.)*?), right?

@kragen [] in aren't URL safe characters so should be '%5B%5D' in a url. But if Gruber's original script copes with it then we should too.
