As far as I know this is only meant to work in the Node.js environment.
They could simplify this line though by using the RegExp:test method. No they can't. They use the details inside the block. The could still just do..

I don't see why then need to check against null.
Try swapping them and tell me if it works. I don't have an environment set up to test it right now, or I'd do it myself. :|

This error happens in Node.js 0.5.1 too now, and since this hasn't been pushed out yet, Markdown parsing doesn't work. If you could push this update to npm I'd be very grateful. :)
