Remove gccisms about eudev HOT 8 CLOSED

We are sympathetic to this, but it would help if you gave all the gcc-isms. The only ones I'm aware of are the pragma. Or if you can tell us what compiler to try.

grep extension, {( macros, typeof, attribute foo, etc. Anything that is compiler specific should be checked at configure time.

We can detect these by building with Clang. It is something that I plan to do as part of a Gentoo bug:

We have more important things to do first, but this will get attention.

It appears that eudev builds with Clang. There are numerous compiler warnings that need to be fixed, but it builds without a problem.

@nwmcsween This will be a low priority for us unless you can cite specific build failures. If this is important to you, feel free to write patches. We are prepared to work with you to get your patches into a state in which they can be merged.

we haven't had any problems with eudev and clang, so i'm not sure what more to do for this bug.

@blueness We might still add "-Wpointer-arith" to the CFLAGS (maybe for Debug-builds) to at least raise a warning for most GCC-isms.
