@naterush Thoughts? Are we using kernprof
output at all? And if so, for what?

@djrtwo yep, as of now we don't use kernprof
at all, so it probably makes sense to move to just python
as the main simulation runner.
That being said, it might sense to hold off on switching this until closer to devcon -- we might want to try to iron out some bottlenecks and will not be able to use the default commands to run the simulation if we add @profile
statements anywhere.
That being said, we can't run tests if we have any @profile
statements anyways as of now :~)

I'm going to pull kernprof out of the Makefile but leave the package in the requirements.txt so we can use it as needed. I want the makefile to be pretty clear if people look at it. kernprof will confuse.
