It might even be worth it to run a reduce-css-calc pass before you do your part.
You'll also want to be mindful of postcss-calc's precision and preserve options to make sure you don't create any side effects as the values get passed between plugins.

It seems as though all your calculations are based on em units. If that's the case, why output calc functions at all? Why not just output the result value with a precision, provided in options?
