Hi, I have the same problem, but not with Etar but with the calendar-app from Samsung. I also have a CalDAV calendar synced with DAVx5. Since the invitations are sent when i create the calendar event in the Google-calendar, i think the issue maybe is in DAVx5?
edit: i just tried it with Etar -> same behaviour:
Google -> invite is sent
DAVx5 -> no invite sent

Hello, same is happening to me. Huawei P40 Lite, Android 10 with DAVx5 and ETAR.

Yesterday I could update my phone to Android 13, but the problem still exists.

It seems I have the same. Etar does show a snackbar though, noting "Updates will be sent". (I have the impression it only affects editing an event; for event creation an email did get sent out, and while not certain, I do think I created that event from Etar.)
I'm on version 1.0.36 via F-Droid, on Android 11.

Hi, I have the exact same issue. I tried with Google Calendar and I have no issue sending invites.
I'm on version 13 through Lineage OS 20 on Samsung 9.
