This isn't a proper solution, but as a workaround until this gets added, you can:

  • Go to the next event in the series and make an easily reversible change, such as adding a single letter to the end of the name, to "this and future events"
  • Go back to the occurrence you actually want to modify or delete, and make the change to "this and future events"
  • Go to the next event in the series and undo the reversible change you made in the first step.

The application does not allow to eliminate a single event from a recurring event.

Doesn't it ? it lets me. See screenshot (first option in the list is "Only this event"):

Select an event, tap on the Trash icon on top, and you'll be prompted with this menu.

I do not have an option to target only the individual event. Only this and future, and all events.

Actually a duplicate of another issue, there are some workarounds proposed there, have a look: #97
I suggest you close this issue in favour of the one linked :)
