I dont think so.

I don't have battery optimization enabled for almost any app, and the widget in question will accurately change the appointments per day to show they are today, but the day is labeled wrong.

For example tomorrow I work from 10am to 5pm and I have it on my calendar. Well tomorrow I can look at the widget and it does show my work from 10-5 but it says the date is still today instead of tomorrow.

Clearly it knows to move the calendar each day but fails to change the actual day of the week.

This seems like a bug not a battery optimization issue.

I think if this was a general bug, many more users would have already reported it. I can't reproduce the error on my cell phone either. Maybe #1156 helps.

Without a debug log, I don't think we can get any further here. The Android and Etar version used would also be helpful.
