Here's the basic outline of what you need to do.

  1. Open styles.css and search for #panelTop. You'll see it twice once at approximately line 725 and once at 740. For both of these change the left value to right. For example:
    #panelTop {
    position: fixed;
    right: 0px;
    top: 0px;
  2. Add the following to styles.css so the slider is positioned correctly on the right side:
    .esriSimpleSliderTR{
    top:10px;
    right:10px;
    }
  3. In styles.css search for #panelContent and update the right value to left and set it to 300px.
    #panelContent {
    font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    position: absolute;
    left: 320px;
    top: 0;
  4. In main.js search for the createMap code and update it to set the slider position to top-right.
    arcgisUtils.createMap(itemInfo, "mapDiv", {
    mapOptions: {
    sliderPosition:"top-right"
    },
    editable: has("edit"),
    //is the app editable
    usePopupManager: true,
    bingMapsKey: this.config.bingKey
    }).then(lang.hitch(this, function (response) {
