VTK Qt about mayavi HOT 2 CLOSED

Any VTK version higher than 5.6.x is not tested to work. There are a bunch of porting issues we have to fix if we need to upgrade.

Regardless, this has nothing to do with Qt or not. Are you setting ETS_TOOLKIT=qt4? Are you using PyQt or Pyside? Please submit complete information so we can reproduce the problem.

I didn't know I had to set ETS_TOOLKIT=qt4.
That solved the problem, thanks :)

UI is great! Looks much better (and more correct) than WX to me, and all is just neat.

For reference I use PyQt 4.9.6. For test I was using simple mlab.surf(), and I can only note I get some warning as:

QAbstractItemView::setSelectionModel() failed: Trying to set a selection model, which works on a different model than the view.

but I guess that's nothing important.
