I think you mean to file this in the App::cpanminus queue, as that's the
driver of the handling of the 'optional_feature' field in META.*. None of
that behaviour is coming from this distribution.

However, you should try setting these variables in the environment:

PERL_MB_USE_DEFAULT=1
PERL_MM_USE_DEFAULT=1

...And I think you might find that with --interactive turned off, cpanm
installs the modules anyway.

You can also simply do yes | <some command> ;)

But the default is not to install those modules :) It just installs Task::Kensho itself and nothing else.

The yes | <some command> works. Phew. Rage averted :) Would be neat for the docs to mention this :)

I dunno, 'cpanm Task::Kensho' installs everything for me!
You'll probably have to troll through the cpanm code/docs to see how it
treats various cases (--interactive set, various environment variables
etc).
