Lifestyle trait balancing, ambition, and event chain exit clauses about emf HOT 2 CLOSED

While some of the lifestyle improvements are now in place, I would like to address one future possibility: As I mentioned elsewhere, I don't think I want to let players game the system and choose the exact lifestyle they want, but I do think the vanilla lifestyle events should eventually be replaced. In the new versions, I propose having event chains for each trait (as opposed to the paired events in vanilla), and the initial event in each chain should offer you a few different one-time-only options to jump to another chain (leading to different lifestyle traits) based on your character's traits. Then mix in a mid-chain chance to try a different approach, this time not necessarily based on your character but instead on the situation in the chain, and I think you'd have a good mixture of choice and RP, while still restricting what you can do.

I mean, this type of vanilla overhaul material is nice, because you can overhaul it brick by brick rather than having to tear down the whole fort first.
