NVIDIA Driver 368.69 - Patch #3 not found. about differentsliauto HOT 5 OPEN

Just in case someone is still looking for an answer, I fixed my issue by using the differentsli version 1.6. You can find the link on page 81 of the techpowerup forum discussing Differentsli.

I just bought another GTX 970 ZOTAC, so SLI is working, and i will sell my PNY 970, that pay 2/3 of my second new zotac 970s....Stupid NVidia annoucements saying all 970's do SLI!

In your case, since they are the same GPU, it may be the SLI bridge it self....Some times u need to do some tricks on it!

Heres what u gonna try if u like to do:

Push the SLI bridge to the end on the gpu, make sure it's all in...then pull back like 1mm, 2mm back, on top(first GPU) and the botton (second GPU)...why? Some times it doesn't connect, and with that, it may work! it did the trick for me once at least...and it will work 4ever, aslong no one touch that, or it doesn't touch the side panel of you case...mine does U shape, cards are too close to each other!

I'm late to the party but I was offered a 2nd GTX 760 for christmas. However, realized that my MOBO does not support SLI natively (but does support crossfire).

I ran into the same issue mentionned by akipfer (took a capture for FYI) :
Press "Patch!" to patch your driver.
Could not find patch #3. Please inform Ember @ techPowerUp! forums.
Could not find patch #4, falling back to permutation #1
Could not find patch #4, falling back to permutation #2
Could not find patch #4, falling back to permutation #3
Could not find patch #4, falling back to permutation #4
Could not find patch #4 at all. Please inform Ember @ techPowerUp! forums.
Patching was aborted because all of the patch locations could not be found.

Running Win 8.1
Nvidia drivers : 376.33
I have two exact GTX 760 GPU
UAC disabled
logged in as admin

Both cards are recognized by nvidia control panel and windows device manager. cards' IDs are matching as well. I don't want to throw my card away if there's a way to take advantage of it :)
