On Hyprland I get this:
I did some digging/logging and webrender is rendering on the whole screen, but the emacs frame has the correct logical size, i.e. half the physical. This is not how we generally handle it---our layout_size() is actually the same as display_size(). Thus I was going to try using a scaled layout_size() and then a matrix transformation in flush to scale it up, although I don't know if that will raster the fonts. (If so we might need an emacs_layout_size and webrender_layout_size which is actually the physical size, and keep track of both.)
However I gave up as I noticed that the pgtk build is actually more laggy than pgtk without WR was when fullscreen on this hardware. I don't want to dig into pgtk/gtk internals any more than I already have, so I've reluctantly gone back to tao/winit.

We should do this. Let WebRender do the scaling work all together and
remove the font's scaling related code.

It's apparently what firefox does. Something like euclid.Transform2D?

I spot that in WebRender examples folder too.
`let layout_size = device_size.to_f32() /
euclid::Scale::new(device_pixel_ratio);`
Just the original code was written for scaling in mind IMO.
