Yeah I'm not going to be changing anything to fix that bug, just move the icon out of the tray

I tried both 5.1.18 and 5.1.19, and get the same error.

Install the last 4.X version

You'll have to manually disable auto-update from settings.json.

If you encounter any bugs, you'll have to install python3.8 32-bit, git, an IDE (e.g. vscode), and built the 32-bit branch, https://github.com/elibroftw/music-caster/wiki/Developer-Guide.

Thanks this version does work, but I can't, for the life of me, find out how to cast the music. Is there no button to choose an output device?

You can right click the tray icon, and the select the device. Watch the demo if you are still confused.

I didn't find a tray icon, but I found the issue. Because the icon is monocolor white+transparent, it looked like it there was no tray icon at all. But it is there, just hidden in the white background.

All good now and I have to say I'm impressed by the low latency, anything plays almost immediately on my home speaker! Will continue to explore the app :)
