Previously auctions would only end when viewed by a user and this was a terrible solution - currently looking for solutions to handle asynchronous events.

Looking like we're going to need to move to Celery and Redis (or similar task queue/message broker services) in order to implement this feature as desired.
current state: Listing.end_listing() currently works assuming the listing has reached/exceeded the listing end date/time. The downside is that the app needs to call end_listing() in order to make this happen. Enter the task queue which can asynchronously change the state of the Listing when the appropriate time arrives (end date/time of the Listing).

Note from the dev branch:
TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable
if the cache object "active_listings" is empty (no listings ending in the next 15 minutes). added try/except block to ignore this state for now.
