Assertion failed harvester.c:158 about logstash-forwarder HOT 5 CLOSED

what revision are you using? What's the output of git rev-parse master say when you are in the lumberjack directory you build from?

I was experimenting with zeromq upgrades last night but rolled back that change; it's possible you have the broken revision.

I was using the master.zip from the github site and ran make deb so I don't really have a git project. I've rebuilt with a git clone and got the same problem.

You want this commit: c401c0a (newer than
yours)

Sorry about that, I forgot to push the code this morning. Fetching a new
master zip or doing 'git pull' will get you the right version.
