Thanks for reaching out @nallown!
That's certainly something we think would be very useful. We are considering our general approach toward distributed tracing at the moment. However, just to clarify, this issue will only track XHR instrumentation on the agent side.
Also feel free to fill our survey to help us decide on future improvements.

Question, have you guys thought about linking the HTTP requests with the Server requests? So like when you click on the HTTP requests, it would show you the drill down of all the SQL queries executed in that requests and all the other information? So basically it would reference the server information for that API requests?
That way you can find out what SQL query or what part of the server is making the requests slow.
