I needed to tweak the export of attendees from the WordPress plugin Event Espresso. As the built in function was really far from what I needed (and changing it would mean all changes lost upon upgrade), I wrote a custom export. This is adjusted to my needs, so it won't work fully out of the box for anyone else, but it might make it easier to get something up and running for other people needing this.

As far as I could tell, Event Espresso 4 simply removes the registration form when an event is fully booked, no message is displayed to the end user. I needed that, and got no help in the support forums, so I made my own function doing the job

I needed to have question groups automatically checked in the add new event-screen. No feature was available, so I made this jquery thing that does the trick.

Groups provides group-based user membership management, group-based capabilities and content access control. It integrates standard WordPress capabilities and application-specific capabilities along with an extensive API.
