Segfault on Ubuntu 18.10 about swiftnessx HOT 7 CLOSED

I did use the App Image.
My node version is 8.11.4
This issue should effect ALL Electron based apps. (Also have reproduced it with slack)
As a temp. workaround many advice to switch the node lib see http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2018/11/slack-app-not-launching-ubuntu-18-10/

Perhaps you can check out vscode or atom because they also had and solved those issues.
Also, building it on Ubuntu 18.10 should work (I recently "built" another electron app which worked just fine)

Let me reproduce it on Ubuntu with this version. In meantime confirm me,

• Did you try running app from source? or used binary?
• Node version

It does seem to be an issue with latest version, thanks for all the infos - will try to re-build it on 18.10 and check if that works..

Ah Unfortunately I have build issues (error file sh) so I cannot fully test
