Basically, all controls have a linked service (ZoomControl, OverviewMapControl, etc) which can be configured via the config.yml. But you need to know that configuring service does not link them automatically to the map. You need to fetch the service and set it on the map.

For example (OverviewMapControl):

ivory_google_map:
    overview_map_control:
        opened: true
$overviewMapControl = $this->get('ivory_google_map.overview_map_control');

$map = $this->get('ivory_google_map.map');
$map->setOverviewMapControl($overviewMapControl);

Here, the overview map control as been configured opened by default for the service. So, the overviewMapControl will be configured accordingly in the container. Then, just need to link it to the map.
