Thanks for opening this issue!

Currently Computer is selected as default because it is the only service that will always be available, but I think this is a valid point, we could allow users to select a default service and when it is not available, default back to Computer.

As for the selective cloud syncing, I think that the best approach here would be allowing you to move or copy locally created tasks or lists to cloud services, therefore allowing them to sync.

I was thinking more in the line of a list instead of a service, i.e. selecting a default list, or maybe a default "Inbox". Regarding the cloud syncing solution, that makes a lot of sense.

Ah, I see what you mean.

We could also preserve the state of the app and resume it where you left off the last time you closed it.
