Hi @everestx ,
the dependency against stankevich/puppet-python is ok. It s an supported puppet approved module.
I would prefer to add this to the next major release, because this changes mean behavior changes of this modul.

Thanks for the info. When are you planning to do the next release? If you are not sure, even a fuzzy answer will suffice. I would like to make sure I get my pull request to you in plenty of time for all to review.

We are taking about weeks. Maybe in december. Bevor that I will release a last 5.x version for bug fixing.

@everestx the branch v6.0.0 is open and ready for a PR ;) We already removed our own logrotate implementation against the official logrotate module. And it would be nice if you send your PR for the python issue.

Hi Daniel, I got sidetracked on that when I realized you can't run graphite in python27 on the RHEL distro. I do have working code, but it only works with RHEL system level python26 and the stankevich/python module. I'll try to get it published for you today.
