This isn't using DDG.isRelevant even at this point. I'd say we can start with that and then potentially move to the newer one which provides more than a relevancy check (suggestions with probabilities).

I'm not sure what the result was like before, but we've now added isRelevant and now it returns a movie result which is a tribute to Tom Hanks, hence it has the name in the title. I feel that's an acceptable result, what do you think @yegg @nilnilnil ?

I still think this misses the mark. The user is expecting a result about a
person, not a movie. I understand that this is an incremental
improvement. I agree with Gabriel's approach which relies on the entity
stuff that MrShu and I are working on. I am going to swing back around and
take a look at that again.

I agree -- very clear they want info on Tom Hanks the actor.

Zaahir, is it easy assuming you can get an entity like actor, movie,
producer; to switch contexts in the IMDb API?

@nilnilnil unfortunately no it doesn't help because the api only allows for searching movies. Currently IMDb doesn't have an official API, so only a single 3rd party api exists which seems to be having legal issues so it probably won't be around for much longer. We will need to seek out a better api for movie/actor info. There is the OpenMovieDatabase which also offers a free movie api, but again, it's only for movies. http://www.omdbapi.com/

We're deprecating the IMDb API since it's using an unofficial API.
