I just compiled the code with icc 19.1.1.217 (20200306). You're using an older icc. Give the following code a try with gcc and your icc 19.0. This is the kind of thing that is happening in GB_ops.c. If your icc complains about this, then you'll need to use icc 19.1, which handles this without any problem.
#include <math.h>
#include <stdio.h>
double big = INFINITY ;
typedef struct
{
double *stuff ;
}
Stuff ;
Stuff y = { &big } ;
int main (void)
{
double x = INFINITY ;
printf ("x %g y %g\n", x, *(y.stuff)) ;
}

My Intel compiler is old? It says it is released in 2019.

I used a newer Intel compiler (19.1.2.254 20200623) and it compiled fine.
Thanks.
