One more bit of information, all of these tablets are Amazon fire tablets and I'm using mLauncher to replace the default launcher.

Please for the life of me don't report bugs from 9 versions behind as I can't fix something that's already been fixed before.

i just updated 2 tablets to mLauncher 1.5.9 and the issue still persists

Is there any crashing that happens when you click the file or what happens?

Nothing crashes. The file isn’t selectable in the first place, when I tap load, it opens up the recent folder on my device, but since it’s a brand new device, I’m setting up each time there’s nothing in that folder and even if I open up the download folder where the backup is stored I can’t select it from there.
